I am a Black queer Reiki level II practitioner raised in the Deep South and currently based on Lenape territory (a.k.a Brooklyn). I am now a Ph.D. candidate in Critical Social Psychology researching how marginalized genders of color heal and resist, as well as examine where we hold stories of institutional violations in our physical and energetic bodies. My training is of the Usui Reiki tradition, trauma-informed, and rooted in a decolonial Black feminist approach. I have offered Reiki to communities of color in New York for the past four years.

We will begin with intention setting, discussing areas of focus, and following the reiki healing, we will debrief and share what emerged for you during your session. Touch is generally used when receiving Reiki but no touch is an option available to you as well. 60 minutes are dedicated to Reiki and 30 minutes will be utilized to check in and debrief.
